Our Mission
The basic act of eating was like a battleground for me — filled with silent struggles and shame. I wanted so badly to have a normal relationship with food, one where I did not obsess and stand in my own way every day.
I wondered what it would be like to love food again, and I wondered what it would be like to love myself.
I created Food is Love to meet my own need — the need to make a change. The change is not about counting calories or tracking macros. It is about noticing and making small shifts towards greater love. This app is built on the belief that it is possible to take responsibility for our happiness, and offers the tools to do so.
Every day is an opportunity. Enjoy the journey!
